So I bought this….

I was going to stop buying stuff to save for my trip but… it was so cheap! And my crazyness for anything Renly (and/or Loras) is coming to new freaky highs.

It’s going to take like a month before I get it, but I can’t wait!

15 years ago, the Targaryen family’s political machine was taken down by the combined forces of the Baratheon and Stark-dominated justice department, and a healthy dose of Lannister cash. Now, city mayor Robert Baratheon has died under a set of strange circumstances, and five new contenders have arisen from the corrupt and sleazy political world of Westeros to take his place.

exhibit A: Renly Baratheon, the charming and good looking younger brother, District Attorney of Westeros, launches his campaign amidst sparkling lights and a very public engagement to the prettiest young socialite in Westeros, Margaery Tyrell. Her brother Loras becomes intimately— in more ways than one, if the tabloids can be believed— involved in Renly’s campaign in the bargain.

exhibit B: Stannis Baratheon, denied the seat of D.A. and relegated to being Chief of Police with headquarters at the outskirts of the city in the old tower of Dragonstone, seeks the help of an Asshai fortuneteller named Melisandre to investigate both his older brother’s death and help take down his younger brother’s campaign, much to the chagrin of smuggler-turned-cop Davos Seaworth, and half the force besides.

spent a good part of the day thinking this up. modern aus are a thing of mine, what can i say.
